Couldnt find a section for injuries i have a question

Postby AHB900 on Fri May 30, 2008 6:17 am

Hey guys, i havent been here for such a long time but i am back with a question. I couldnt find a section on injuries (maybe im blind and i cant see it i dont know) but i sometimes feel this pain between my legs after doing a heavy set of lets say chest or back or whatever. I cant really explain the pain but its like right between my legs. Should i worry about a hernia? or am i just pushing to hard... what should i do?

Thanks

Doesn't sound like a Hernia risk.

What does it feel like? Is it localised pain, does it feel as if something is cutting you? Does it feel like it travels up the Leg, instead of being in one area, (localised)?

Okay, is there any specific exercises that cause it like Deadlifts, Squats etc etc. You mentioned things like Chest and Back, but I'm thinking it might happen during those, after something else has triggered it off first.

well from what i rememmber ive only felt it after 2 workouts. One workout was the sitting pull backs with the narrow V shaped attachment, and Two the Chest press on any type of machine or the actuall bench, nothing else from what i can rememmber.

What kind of Abs training fo you do?

If your Abs training isn't right, you might be feeling Abdominal pressure, from having good Back and Chest quality, but Abs not being too good.

For Abs i do weighted flat bed crunches (with a 45 pound plate), i do cable ab pull downs (when you grab the cables and flex ur body downward), and i do non weighted leg raises on the dip bar. I do these with 3 setts 10,10,10 reps for each. It seems to be working for my abs not many workouts work for my abs but this one is actually working

The thing is i dont see a need for a doctor because i never have ne pains any time except once inawhile if im working out really heavy either chest or back sometimes maybe bicepts... lets say when im really pushing hard.
