Feeling Weak...

Postby Dalton85 on Wed Oct 10, 2007 11:58 pm

The day's after I workout...I can barely move.
And now the sore type of barely move I indeed am sore, but I'm also...weak as if my body isn't supporting its own body weight...
I take cyto-gainer after workouts...only have of whats needed and NOT two shakes a day..only one shake after a workout.
I'm not sure what's happening
I actually fell when I got out of bed this morning.

your over training badly which is bloody hard at a young age...look at food, sleep and lifestyle too and improve what you think the problems are

SLEEP MORE DUDE
Teenagers need sleep, go for 10 hrs a night, and back off the training a bit for a while.
Your body is growing and that happens when you sleep, right now your body is telling you that if it doesn't get more rest, it will not perform the way you want it to. You have to listen to it, there is no beating mother nature.

Agreed. Overtrainimg, lack of sleep, etc etc, and sounds possible you might have developed Shin Splints.

but i only work out for an hour once every two days...overtraining doesnt seem possible =/
and sleep...that might be true cause i go to sleep at 10-11 and wake up at 6.

shin splints..urg
i already have to look fowards to those cause my school has an illegal track(concrete instead of rubber) cause they are to cheap to buy the real ones
AND WE ARE A PRIVATE SCHOOL.

Heck, I wasn't aware something like that was illegal. Though when you think about it it makes sense. Obviously in Britain, I can't say what laws govern such things, as I don't pay much attention to a lot of small laws in truth.

The impact on joints etc etc, must be extremely worrying though, none the less.

i'm pretty sure you could sue them if you wanted too ecspecially if you developed long term injuries from it...more sleep and food needs to be addressed if only training every second day...what about other sports and activities you do?? they'll contribute too

i want you to keep a journal on here liting the following each day:

- hours and quality of sleep rated out of 10 with 10 being best sleep you've ever had
- exercise and / or any activity you do rating it's intensity out of 10 again and listing it's duration
- also rate how you feel after exercise out of 10 focusing on if your energised, ded tired or in the middle
- all food and drink you have, there quantitites and the times you have them

overall it will be a pretty detailed plan but will give us an exact insight in to what could be causing us trouble

Amino Acids are your friend. Never forget that, hehe. Glutamine is one of the best...
