I'd go for a cut first. You're still going to be working hard enough to gain some amount of mass, which will help you cut.
A good body comes from hard work.

sean's program is based on low volume, heavy wt HIT Mike Mentzer type of priciples (2 x 5 - 7 reps per exercise is it?) so the volume won't be no where near enough to burn fat

anthony's is based on supersets, trisets is it? this would be a better option but i think there are plenty of better options availble out there, and fro free

train movements not muscles...train like an athlete would...you wouldn;t see Chris Judd doing tri sets for shoulders but he would do olympic lifts, heavy compound exercises and such

try this:

day 1 - deadlifts / bench press / db row / prone ab braces

day 2 - chin ups / front squats / shoulder press / face pulls

day 3 - reverse lunges / chest supported rows / incline press / side ab braces

over 2-3 weeks detirmine a 15 rep max wt for each exercise except for holds which will be for as long as you can for prone braces aimig for 2mins straight and 45secs for side braces...this will be the wt you'll use for the program

after that has been done then all the exerfises will be done for 3 x 12 but in a circuit fashion with exact rest between them starting at 90secs which will look like this:

deads...rest 90secs...bench...90...row...90...brace....90 x 3 cycles for each day

the kicker for the program is the rest as each week you'll decrease the rest 5secs so it is imperitive that you are right onto this so by wek 6 you'll be doing the same amount of work (wt, sets and reps) but in less time

for chin ups if you can't get the reps do something like this:

if you can't do any than change them to inverted rows if you can or seated rows

if you can only do say 3 than do this:

chins x 3...rest 30secs...front squats x 12...rest 90secs...chins x 3...rest 30s...shoulder press x 3...rest 90secs...chins x 3...rest 30s...face pulls x 12...chins x 3 etc

just divide up what you can do and do them every second exercise but only rest 30secs after them

if you can do olympic lifts (hang cleans, push jerk, cleans and press etc) than these will work better than some of the exercises in the above program so we can add some in

let me know what you think...where are you?
