Its the best book on that site so I was wondering if it looked any good.

Thanks.

I'm betting you can get the same, if not better advice from the people on this site. Everyone is different, so Boss and Swanso can give you more personalized tips.

Seems credible enough, but I think the title is too flashy. Making it sound like the best thing you'll ever buy, in most cases whatever the product, makes it suspiciously too good to be true.

That's not to say its a bad book, I'm just not 100% for or against it.

Ah, no offense intended to anyone...
but Ian King is one of the most sought after althletic trainers in the world. He has designed training programs for elite athletes in more than 20 sports and has been training olympians for over 20 years.
Lou Shuler is an award winning fitness journalist, who co-wrote NROL, NROL for women, The Men's Fitness Bible (amongst others) and is a regular contributer to T-Nation. He is also the fitness director for Mens' Health magazine.

I'm not saying you won't get good tips here or on other web sites, and I'm not saying to buy anything because author X wrote or contributed to it. I'm not saying that anyone on this site or other sites who is unpublished lacks credibility.
What I am saying is these guys know their ****, and if you are looking for credible, professional and proven information, these would be two go-to-guys IMO.

Great info is available on forums, from trainers, from your gym, from books. The trick is to filter it all and apply it to your own goals and situation. I'm a firm believer in getting as much info as I can from as many sources that are available to me (and within my budget) and learning and applying the tips to my training. Keep an open mind and explore the options.

As long as the authors have credible backgrounds then the book should be good, I'm trying to absorb as much information as I can get, plus I have vouchers for that bookstore so it wouldnt gost me anything really.
