Chin-ups are more likely to stimulate the Chest area, whereas Pull-ups work more of the Traps, Posterior Delt and Biceps.
A good body comes from hard work.

Chinups are done with palms facing you and they work biceps and back muscle..
pullups are done with palm facing away and they simulate more lat muscles..

I feel the good thing is mixup all the grips ie palm facing you, away and facing each other...

Pull Ups v Chin Ups

Pull Ups
Grip - wide with palms facing away from you (pronated)
Muscles Emphasised - lats primary, forearms / bi long head secondary

Chin Ups
Grip - close with palms facing you (supinated)
Muscles Emphasised - lats primary, bi short head secondary

i'm a big pull up man as i think it's easier to keep the focus on the back muscles with the pronated grip and you can't cheat as much but chins will use more muscles at one time so more cal use etc...
